Kerry's testimony

She did an awesome job last night. Everyone on the team I talked to said how proud they were of her. And shocked that she volunteered to speak. :) They know how quiet and shy she is. Thanks again to Mel being her Mom for the week. When Kerry goes on these trips I know without a shadow of a doubt she is in good hands. I trust Mel completely!!! She's awesome.
If Kerry didn't get anything else out of this trip other than meeting Amy that would have been enough. I have been praying for someone to come along and help her and I believe God answered that prayer with Amy. Kerry is a different girl!! AWESOME is the only word for it.
Billy got choked up last night giving his testimony when it came to the girls. They lead 3 kids to Christ and they told Billy they wanted to get these kids a Bible because they didn't have one. He said they went to Lifeway and spent an hour and a half picking out the "right" Bible for these kids. That brought me to tears....that is awesome. These girls are 12 and 13 years old and have such a heart for others!!! Anna, Lizzie and Kerry!! The missionary girls!! :) The mother and younger brother of these kids are not saved so remember them!! I am hoping that when this mother reads the Bible to her children the Lord will open her heart and eyes and she will be saved. The children are 5 and 7 years old.
From what I understand they will be going back in the spring....if not New Orleans it will be Galveston, Tx.
I don't have any pictures of Kerry from last night because I only did video.
I am so thankful that Kerry has these opportunities to do missions and she loves it. Thank you God, Billy and PVS!!

We are so proud of Kerry, we have also seen a change in her since her trip to New Orleans, we are thankful for her meeting Amy, and thankful Mel would be her MOM for a week. It is so wonderful knowing our children and grandchildren are serving the Lord.
Love you all,
Papa and Nana

I'm so proud of Kerry standing tall and speaking out. God's got great plans for her. These events aren't the end of your spiritual growth, it's just the beginning.
