We helped Ken's brother, Stephen move today.
Kerry and I got up bright and early....well early, 6 a.m., got ready and headed out at 6:30 a.m. We got to Lilburn at about 8:15. It only took 2 trips to get the bulk of Stephen and Jessica's things from her mom and dad's to their new home. Thankfully it was only a 10 minute trip to the new place from her parents house. We got done around 3:00. Kerry was a HUGE help.
It was quite the adventure because I took Ken's truck. It's been awhile since I've driven a stick and I wasn't used to his truck. I picked up on it pretty quick though. What made me the most nervous was backing the truck to the back door and loading some mattresses on it. Well Pat, Jessica's dad, held them in place by standing on the tailgate while I drove the truck back to the front yard...mind you UP A HILL....so they could tie them down. I guess I did pretty good since he didn't fall off the tailgate!!!!
We stopped to eat on the way home at our favorite, Chili's, and got home around 7:00.
We had a full day and I'm ready to go to bed!!!
Gotta go....my pillow is calling.....very LOUDLY!!!

Lilburn is where Jonathan and I grew up! Sounds like a tiring day.
