Last night was a BIG step for Emily and Cami. Going to the youth dept. On Wednesday nights it's called Student Fusion and consists of Middle and High school. That was why I was a little concerned with Emily and Cami going....being with all those big kids. Alot of the kids don't go to our church so they can get rowdy. They just come on Wednesday night but Ken was going to be over there too so I didn't worry about the girls as much. Benjie Mathis is the youth pastor and does a fantastic job. Emily and Cami LOVED IT. They got a free t-shirt and a snickers bar. Benjie throws them out in the crowd....the kids love it. Student Fusion has a band that plays worship music....Ken helps them. Plus they are fed pizza before they leave.
They said that they can't wait to go back and go on the middle school mission trip next summer. I can't believe my twinkies are in middle school already.....they still look so little.
Kerry wasn't so crazy about it but she isn't as out going as Emily and Cami. Kerry is like me....unfortunately. Kerry is helping with the Cubbies. They are the 4 and 5 year olds. She does well with that age. She's had practice with Taylor. :)
She helps with the 2nd grade Sunday School class on Sunday mornings. Which is Taylor's class.
